trochu bokem: půlnoční chat s kámošem z Jordánu

(vypustil jsem pasáže o holkách, vzpomínání na společný pití piva a sliby společnýho pití piva)

"about the protests, im not sure if i want to go side by side with the muslim brotherhood division here. muslim brotherhood, extreme left, radicals"
(me:) "and normal people, middle class and so?"
"yeah normal people are also protesting.. not on a very large scale though"

"what is there is that isa (islamic action front) is the only politically well organized party here, and they are the one's stirring the protests despite the contribution of other parties and individuals. so if they're thinking of something, it's definitely for their own benefit"

(me:) "so now it can only end with some kind of islamistic regime, hardly anything democratic. and the way to liberalization is quite long. do you agree?"
"completely, but, if it happens in the first place. because i don't think israel or the u.s will sacrifice jordan's stability."

"my opinion is if any form of revolution happens here there will be a civil war before anything else. a second iraq, jordanian against palestanian, muslim against christian, so it is completely out of no one's interest that something like that happens. about 60% of Jordan's population is palestenians, and there is apparent hatred beteween jordanians and palestanians. and about 9% is christian."
(me:) "greater than hatred to the US and Israel???"
"i mean.. after the king.. what's next? we still wouldn't have an organized way of getting at israel. so we do each other instead. america-iraq scenario... revisited. anyway, if this is the case, i will flee to europe"
